<image:title>Meet the Team - Michal “Miki” Moskowitz PhD Whiteboard Psychologist</image:title>
<image:caption>I’m a primary care psychologist at Rockville Internal Medicine Group in Rockville, MD, where I provide a gateway to Behavioral Health for patients as part of their medical team. My goal is to increase access to mental health care, decrease stigma, and give people practical tools they can use to manage their mental health.</image:caption>

<image:title>Meet the Team - Indu Subramanian MD Collaborator for Health Care Provider Series</image:title>
<image:caption>I am a neurologist with a specialty in treating Parkinson’s disease. I have a passion for yoga, mindfulness, and integrative medicine. After discovering Miki’s first whiteboard post, I invited Miki to speak at a virtual Parkinson’s support group. We quickly discovered we had such similar aspirations to help people in health care and in general with their Covid struggles, and decided to collaborate on the Health Care Provider Series.</image:caption>

<image:title>Our Story - Our Story</image:title>
<image:caption>A whiteboard is the most essential tool in Miki’s therapy office (besides tissues…). Mapping out patients’ thoughts & feelings on the whiteboard helps to visually understand what’s happening inside. And even if we meet just a few times, patients always have those whiteboard photos to refer back to. When regular life came to a screeching halt in March 2020, Miki began sharing her whiteboard drawings on Facebook to help people manage anxiety and depression in lockdown. Whiteboard Psychology was born. Indu and Miki collaborated on creating a series specifically for healthcare providers and frontline workers. Other whiteboard slideshows put names to the new emotions many of us have felt throughout the roller coaster of pandemic life. We hope these whiteboard slideshows will help everyone feel less alone and gain some tools for managing mental health.</image:caption>

<image:title>HCP Series - Healthcare Provider Series</image:title>
<image:caption>As healthcare providers ourselves, we understand the unique stresses of HCPs that pre-dated the pandemic. Burnout, excessive workloads, understaffing, high suicide rates, and stigma in accessing mental health care were already hurting so many HCPs. During the pandemic, we feel especially compelled to support our fellow HCPs out on the frontlines. That’s why Indu and Miki joined forces to create the Healthcare Provider Series. We welcome you to share these materials broadly, especially for education and wellness initiatives for HCPs. We hope they will help HCPs feel less alone. We appreciate hearing feedback on these materials and any input on future posts.</image:caption>
